course, one of the biggest issues for us is publicity. And, as anyone who
has dabbled in the dark art of advertising will tell you, trying to draw
attention to an event is as difficult as it is important. Making people aware
of the Festival is crucial. On the street you get to know places where the
council won’t remove your posters instantly. A lot of shops have a strict no
poster policy. Others don’t like flyers and bin them as soon as you’ve left
them. You get to know the good places.
